I'm creating a series of Pro Tools Tips & Tricks videos regarding basic Pro Tools shortcuts, etc. These videos will be useful to the novice engineer and/or home studio operator. If time permits at least one of these videos will be up by the end of the week.

Creative Commons

Hello again.

Just wanted to give you guys the newest trend in copyrighting your material. It's called Creative Commons and you can visit their site @ www.creativecommons.org for detailed information.

The beauty of this organization is that it gives YOU the ability to structure what happens with your copyrights. For example, if I wanted to give a song that I wrote to the public - it would give me the option to do so without having to deal with intermediaries like lawyers and such. This will obviously save you time, effort, and most of all...MONEY.

So check it out - it's the best alternative to dealing with the aged copyright system written in the 70's.

Have a great Monday!

First Blog

Alright, welcome to my first blog!

I hope that everyone has enjoyed my videos on youtube so far and I thank everyone for the amount of support even though I've been live for less than 2 weeks.

I wanted to post this blog to discuss a few important things:

1) What it is that people would like to me make videos about
2) What kind of questions do people need answered
3) What I can do to make my youtube channel better

So, let's start with items #1 & #2...

When I make my videos, I can only 1/2 understand what it is that youtuber's want to watch. When I travel to youtube, I look for comprehensive reviews, interesting music, and comical videos.

I've created my channel to give youtuber's a personal approach to operating programs and/or gear for media production. I realize that many videos on youtube are lacking in this area; especially due to the channel operators not responding with relevant answers. I would like to be the light in the dark for
those in need.

In conclusion to item #1, What would youtuber's like me to make instructional videos about?

Moving on to item #3...

I realize that many channels are too crowded. I'd like to make my channel as simple as possible for ease of use. Go to my channel, check it out, and tell me what you think. I'd love to hear from you guys - and I want nothing more than to help those with questions.

So, thanks for checking out my new blog - it's already become a fun adventure.
